EDUCATION PROGRAM

PTSD & RESILIENCE PROGRAM
// Building Emotional Strength for Life's Challenges
Our heroes have stood bravely in the line of fire for many years, and such experiences inevitably impact both the mind and body. These courageous individuals experienced the horrors of October 7th firsthand; therefore, we have a responsibility to help them regain their emotional, mental and physical well-being. Our program cuts through bureaucratic delays, providing our unit members and alumni with the immediate assistance and support they need and deserve.

By offering this support, we are enhancing the resilience of not only each of the unit members individually, but the Duvdevan unit as a whole in both everyday situations and emergency scenarios. The focus is on a personal level as well as a team level to promote prevention and improve coping with experiences from military service.

These goals are achieved by connecting our men and women to appropriate support bodies and understanding their individual and team needs.
RESILIENCE PROGRAM

COMMEMORATION PROGRAM
// Honoring the Legacy of Our Heroes
We commemorate the sacrifice of 30 commanders and fighters who have fallen during service since the founding of the unit in 1986.

The program includes specific remembrances for those lost in the current "Swords of Iron" war and those killed in battle on October 7th.
Friends of Duvdevan is dedicated to honoring the memory of our fallen heroes:
-
Legacy projects to remember and honor the fallen.
-
Activities including family support at memorials, commemoration days, and providing financial and emotional support during Jewish holidays.
-
Bereavement program support for families of our fallen soldiers, designed to assist families in navigating the profound loss of their loved ones who served honorably.

We ensure the memory of our heroes lives on, while we bring their families into the Duvdevan circle for emotional and financial support.
